We will use the Sen2Cor processor as an example. Sen2Cor performs atmospheric correction on Sentinel 2 L1C images to produce Bottom-of-Atmosphere reflectances products (L2A). This processor is developed by Telespazio/DLR for ESA. See
http://step.esa.int/main/third-party-plugins-2/sen2cor/ for more information.
In the previous part, we have selected a Sentinel 2 L1C images and placed it in the "Input Data" clipboard. We will now apply the Sen2cor processor to this product to generate a Level 2A product. The following steps will show you how to run the processor and visualize the results.
Go to the processors panel. The first tab lists the processors approved by the CTEP. The other tabs contain contributed processors and your personal proccesors. In the first tab, select the SEN2COR processor.
You first need to give a name to your job. In the present case it will be "Venice". Please note: if you don't fill this box the process will fail.
To select your input product, press the "+" button near the product in the Input Data clipboard. You can visualize the product footprint on the map for verification.
Now press execute. After few minutes the processing is done. The job appears in "My jobs" panel with status "Success". To see the result on the map, click on the list icon to see which layers are available for visualization. An RGB layer has been created. Click "Publish", then "View on Map".
After a while the image appears on the Geobrowser map.
